Harbin will hold the 1st China-Russia Expo

The 1st China-Russia Expo will be held in Harbin, China on June 30-July 4. The Expo is co-hosted by the MOFCOM, Heilongjiang Provincial Government, Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, themed “New Opportunity, New Platform”. China-Russia Expo is formerly known as China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, 24 sessions of which have been done. In October 2013 during the regular meeting of the Premiers from both sides, it was renamed as China-Russia Expo, aiming to innovate China-Russia economic and trade cooperation platform, expand cooperation areas and improve the cooperation level. According to WTO’s statistics, China’s trade in goods in 2013 totaled USD 4.16 trillion, becoming the largest goods trader in the world. This is definitely a milestone that is worthy of noting. The next big question is what lies ahead. Just like Minister Gao of MOFCOM said, “the fruit is not easily earned, and the development path ahead will not be even.”
