ZenFone 2

ASUS released the much-anticipated ZenFone 2 in Taiwan on 9th March 2015 at an event marking the global launch of the new flagship ASUS smartphone series. More than 1,000 ASUS enthusiasts—known in Taiwan as “ZenFans”—joined in the celebration that took place at the National Taiwan University Sports Center in Taipei. ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih was onstage to introduce the ZenFone 2 and its new mascot, Zenny. He was accompanied by Intel Vice President and General Manager of Asia-Pacific and Japan Robert Swinnen, ASUS Vice Chairman Jonathan Tsang, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen and by Taiwanese pop singer Jam Hsiao. Combating IPR infringement and counterfeiting in teleconference

The national teleconference on combating IPR infringement and counterfeiting was held in Beijing on March 18, and Vice Premier Wang Yang attended and addressed the meeting. He stressed that the work of combating IPR infringement and counterfeiting is in the vital interests of the public, and closely related with the construction of an innovation-oriented country and China’s international image. To make it adapt to the new requirements of the new normal of economic development and rule of law, efforts shall be made to tackle problems and their root causes, implement responsibilities, strengthen coordination and support and strive for a new situation of combating IPR infringement and counterfeiting work in accordance with laws. In the 2012 China Health Forum hold on the 17th of August, the Chinese Ministry of Health released the strategic report of Healthy China 2020. Ten measurable goals were included in the report. For instance, the life expectancy will reach 77 years old by 2020, the mortality rate of children under age 5 lower than 13‰, and the maternal mortality rate lower than 20/100 thousand, etc. And most importantly, total health expenditure will take up 6.5-7% of GDP.
