China’s film industry is booming
China’s central government spent 290 million yuan ($46.7 million) supporting the making of quality film projects last year, official figures show. The beneficiaries were 217 films covering drama, children, rural life, education, documentary, animation, among other genres, according to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT). China Brand Expo 2015 in St. Paulo, Brazil
China Brand Expo 2015, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, opened in St. Paulo, Brazil on July 20. Consul-General of China’s embassy to St. Paulo Chen Xi, official of Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM Wu Tongdiao, and vice mayor of Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government Yang Wenlong attended and addressed the opening ceremony, and also attending were guests from Association of Importer and Exporter of Brazil, Chamber of Commerce of St. Paulo, St.Paulo Industry Union, and St. Paulo Investment Promotion Agency. SSE expands financing channels for securities companies
Recently, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) decided to expand the range of the pilot for short-term corporate bonds business of securities companies to all securities companies, and allow securities companies to carry out the business of securitizing income right of assets of margin trading and securities lending, so as to further expand the financing channels for securities companies to support their steady business development. 10th anniversary of the inscription of “The Historic Centre of Macao” on World Heritage List
In order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the inscription of “The Historic Centre of Macao” on World Heritage List, the Cultural Affairs Bureau promotes, together with several entities, a series of activities, which include new historic and cultural facilities in operation, exhibitions, a seminar and new publications, cultural performances, and highlighted activities, in a total of 35 events. These activities are aimed at building an effective platform of cooperation, allowing the local population and visitors to celebrate the inscription of “The Historic Centre of Macao” on the World Heritage List through different cultural activities, hoping to raise every social sector’s awareness to the protection and transmission of cultural heritage and promoting its universal values. Ko Wen-je was born on 6 August 1959 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. And he is the incumbent mayor of Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. Before being elected mayor, he was an attending physician and Chairman of the Department of Traumatology at National Taiwan University Hospital. He was also a professor at National Taiwan University College of Medicine and specializes in trauma, intensive care, organ transplant, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and artificial organs among others.
