Promote healthy development of trade circulation enterprises
China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) convened a meeting to implement the Opinions on Promoting Domestic Trade Circulation by the General Office of the State Council in Tianjin on November 27. The meeting was aimed at interpreting the Opinions (No.51 [2014] issued by the General Office of the State Council) and deploying its implementation across the commerce authorities nationwide. Vice Minister of Commerce Fang Aiqing attended and addressed the meeting, which was presided over by Assistant Minister of Commerce Wang Bingnan. Continue reading

25th session of China-U.S. JCCT
The 25th session of the China-U.S. Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) was held on December 16-18 in Chicago, the United States. Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang co-chaired the session with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and Trade Representative Michael Froman. Taiwan and Japan to implement a cooperative program on biological materials for patent
Following the PPH partnership in 2012 and PDX program in 2013, the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) and the Japan Patent Office (JPO) have achieved yet another milestone in November with the signing of a memorandum for a cooperative program on mutual recognition of deposit of biological materials for the purpose of patent procedure. Chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission
Mr. Xiao Gang, an ethnic Han from Ji’an, Jiang Xi Province, was born in Changsha, Hunan Province in August 1958. He graduated with a Master’s degree in International Economic Law from Renmin University of China in 1996.
